In previous years we have just sent home the flyers and waited for orders. Kids Stuff has asked us to try sending them home. We are going to give it a shot and see how we do. We are just starting out with the K and 1st grades. Hopefully we will get most of them back or sell them.
Instead of using the Kidstuff Coupon Books, our school has discovered a "Value Card". It is just like a credit card and is good for the entire year. You can get the same discount from the same place every single day if you chose to do so. Very affordable, at $10, with your organization getting 60% profit.
It works like this; you can pre-order a certain amount or you can use order forms. Most programs have a minimum, like 400 cards. The credit card will have 27 businesses on the card. You choose the businesses, submit them to the program and they do all the leg work in obtaining a deal with those businesses so that they can place them on your card. If you have a decent size school, you could make a nice profit on this sale. We plan to get them early in the school year and have them available all year round. Though there are many businesses in the discount book, once you use the coupon, that is it. With this card, you can use it over and over again. The most important thing is to select the right businesses for your school. Check out this site, www.rondinopromotions.com
and then click on the Fundraising Division link at the top of the page.
They do have an e-mail address if you're looking for info. It is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
You can order the books directly from KidStuff Inc.
Send a check/money order for $25 to Just KidStuff Inc., 6520 Stonegate Drive, Suite 160, Allentown, PA 18106. Include the county you want, your phone# and street address, as it is shipped UPS.
Kathie,
I am looking to purchase a few books as gifts but do not know any schools in my area that are selling the books. Do you know where I can purchase some.
Originally posted by deemariemcp: Our school has done Kid Stuff for the past 3 years now and it is one of the more popular fundraisers with our families. The first year we conducted this fundraiser, there were so many families that did not return the books, that now the company will only allow us to take book orders. We still do OK and the company was surprised at how many we sell with out giving the book out first. Sadly, we discovered our parents need to “re-learn†the core values we teach to our kids; trust, responsibility, integrity, hope, courage!!
