Hoff's Bakery is a great pie distributor. THe pies are delivered frozen, though. Our Elementary School was the top pie seller last year. If you aren't far from Medford, they are an excellent choice. Call early, they only do 30 schools per year. Good luck.
I'm not sure where in Ma you are, but a local Elem. school used Hoff's Bakery in medford. Also, I know Mikes pastery in the North End (Boston) does pie fundraisers. I'm not sure if teh pies were fresh or frozen

We've used Club's Choice and had a good experience. We now use a local bakery(trying to support our local businesses). We used them for the first time last spring and had a really successful fundraiser-much more than we expected. We think it helped that people were familiar with the product.
You can try Ashley Farms www.ashleyfarmsinc.com/Home.cfm
or Cherrydale Farms www.cherrydale.com/home.htm.
I haven't tried Cherrydale yet but the Ashley Farms pies and cookie dough (gotta have that white chocolate macadamia nut) is very good. Delivery goes smoothly and every order is prepacked into one or more boxes. Thy also have the teacher's name on the box to make sorting easier.
Do you have a Perkins or a Marie Calendars? Or maybe just a local restaurant that bakes pies?
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
