We've been doing great with spirit wear this year-t-shirts, sweatshirts, bracelets. I'm thinking of suggesting we expand to pencils and folders too.

As for your question on talent shows-have you searched the site for posts on the subject? I know there have been several.

Don't forget community nights at places like Wendy's, Pizza Hut, Perkins, etc. People gotta eat and it's nice to not have to cook once in awhile.

We are looking for some new fundraisers for our elementary school. We feel our parents are tired of buying cookie dough, candles, etc. We are looking for more functional items to sell or even in-house fund raisers that don't cost much to put on. We have a Math/Science Family Night with a Chili Supper scheduled on Nov. 3. Can anyone give me details on producing a talent show or something like that to raise money. I'm working with little help so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

PS. Please note I'm in Louisiana and our little state has been through a lot in the past month and a half. People are trying to pick up the pieces and get on with their lives so helping the school PTC seems to be the last thing on their mind.
