Just out of curiousity - is bingo considered gambling in your state? If it is, I bet you need permission from the state to run it. (that's just a guess on my part, but you may want to look into it.)
I think a Bingo night sounds like a great idea. It beats having the kids always having to do fundraisers to raise money. Can anyone please send me any info they have on how they set up a Bingo night? Some info I'd like is what do you do for prizes (donations?) and do you charge for each sheet (how much), etc. I know of a hall that we could probably use where they hold Bingo once a week. Would we need to get any kind of license?
You can e-mail me directly or post here. Thanks for any light you can shed.
We ask the local KC hall if we can use their bingo cards. They have kept the old ones that you just slide the window over the number. That way we don't have to have a paper ones, the license etc. We also get all the donations that we can get and use these as prizes. You will be surprise the amount of prizes you can get. If you get any cash donations say 500.00 you can also play for 2 $250.00 blackout games. Hope this helps you a little.
we are planning our first (hope to be) annual BINGO night. problem is -- none of us have ever planned a BINGO nite. any tips and suggestions we need to know for a successful night?
