I would also like donation letters e-mailed to me. Our auction is in May and I am starting on it right after the holidays. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
This was a HOT (excuse the pun) item at our school.
Contact your local fire department to see if they would be willing to host a bright eyed child for lunch or dinner to sit and eat with the fire fighters.
could someone email me a copy of their donation letter and thank you letters, our school is in desprite need right now... we are a militay school and many parents are gone and we have low attendence right now, we really need a pick-me-upper around here And if you have any ideas for pre-k thru 1st fundraisers and family attivities, we are a new PTO.. Thanks a bunch

You can also go to your local Walmart, Toys R Us, movie theaters, restaurant chains. Don't forget those hair cuts, massages, oil changes, dry cleaning, book stores, membership at gym, free week of day care, movie rentals, etc.
Hi, I just wanted to let everyone know that I sent out tons of donation request letters off the list. Many came back with bad addresses and so far the majority have turned us down with the except of Circuit City who gave us the $100 gift card.
What I did, which I am having better luck with is this - and maybe this will work for you too- I went online and found the website for my county's chamber of commerce. They list all of their members and addresses. I then sent out letters to them requesting donations. This was on Friday the 6th, as of today (the 14th)I have already received 4 replies with donations. I received gift certificates for dinner, and green fees for golf courses so far. Maybe this will help some of you too. My auction is not until March 27, but as you know it takes alot of planning, therefore I started very early
