We have been using Empties4Cash for years and love them. They email you right away and tell you the amount of money you earned with a breakdown of all the cartridges and mail you a check right away. You can check them out at empties4cash.com
Cartridges for Kids is the one I sent this shipment to only because it is the one I had the info for. I'm new at this too! If anyone thinks other ones are better, I'd love to hear.
One question I have for experts: do you do an "inventory" of what you're sending or do you just pack the cartridges up and mail them and wait to get a check? I have no clue what I'm "due".

Deanna:
Our school uses both KashforKids and Funding Factory. In a school of about 300, we make about $1200 minimum a year. That's without really trying! Kash for Kids gives a minimum of $2 for inkjets and $3 for cell phones. Funding Factory sometimes pays more or less than that, so I usually check their lists and compare. But, yes, it really is that easy!
WEll, I'll let you know in a few weeks. I just shipped off 3 big boxes of cartridges and cell phone to Cartridges for Kids. They send you pre-paid labels so all you have to do is stick the stuff in a box with a label and call Fedex to pick it up. I'll be curious to see how much money we earn from these 3 boxes with LOTS of stuff in them. I have no clue which cartridges are useable because it's very hard to tell the "number" of the cartridge and whether or not it's any good. We'll see in a few weeks.

Has anyone participated in one of the many printer cartridge / cell phone recycling programs? I've discovered two online in the last few hours... looks too good to be true? Can something be so easy?
