I am writing today on behalf of the (school name) Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). We are an elementary school located in (location) and have just under 300 students in grades kindergarten through 6th grade.
This spring we will be holding our Annual School Carnival. During which we will hold a silent auction fundraiser. Monies raised will help support various school functions. We would appreciate any help your business can provide. We are looking for any items that could be auctioned including gift certificates, merchandise, etc.

The Miller Elementary PTO will be holding a gala and auction to raise funds for the coming year. Our goal is to raise enough funds to provide a field trip for each class, purchase much needed school supplies, and stock a new math lab.
Our gala will be held at ABC Restaurant, 1600 Restaurant Avenue, on Saturday, Jan. 24, with all moneys raised benefiting the Miller Elementary PTO. We hope that you will consider donating an auction item, gift certificate, or gift basket to our silent auction. As a donor, you will receive publicity prior to and during the event, which will be viewed by every invitee and attendee. We will be sending more than 300 invitations and expect to have 150 attendees.
May we count on your help? An auction committee member would be happy to pick up your item at your convenience, or if you would prefer, you may send it to Jane Doe, 631 Maple Dr., Houston, TX 77002. Please submit your donation no later than Jan. 10 to ensure proper recognition at the gala.
