My self and a few others were thinking about having a spring carnival. We could not come up with enough games etc. to even get the ball rolling! Thanks goes out to all of you and good luck as well. I also like the "jail" idea the kids would really enjoy it at our school. Thanks again!!
A poster toss is where you roll posters up and put them over a peg on a piece of wood. The kids have to throw the rings over the poster. They win the poster that the ring is over. Usually they get 3 tries.
I love the sound of the "jail", I think the kids would get a kick out of that.
Hi, I was wondering how the poster toss game works. we've thought of a few ideas but I don't know how anyone else does this. Also, we are planning to have a "jail" at our fall festival. It is a 5' x 5' box frame with bailing twine "bars". 1-2 people serve as Sheriff (prefer Teachers!) and you need a Bailiff. For 50 cents you can put out a warrent to arrest a friend for 20 minutes. Once "arrested" the person must serve the time or talk someone into bailing him our for 75 cents. The kids love it and it's an easy money maker.
I am also planning for the fall festival at my daughters school. If you live in a large city or near one you might want to check into a moonwalk (inflatable bouncer)for the kids to play in. I live near Knoxville, TN and was able to rent one for $125.00 for the whole day. We also offer dune buggy rides, horse rides, dunking booth, putt putt golf, cotton candy, frito bandito sales, caramel apples, wagon rides, silent auctions, and several others.
We're having a bank shot basketball, a can-can (toss a bean bag at milk cans), quarterback toss (throw a football through a hole in a piece of wood), five pin bowl (bowling), poster toss.
