Earlier this month, I met the founders of ispysanta .com and found out that they are offering an amazingly simple and unique fundraiser for PTA/PTO's. It cost me nothing to sign up and promote the most amazing Christmas Website for children, and for every child who signs up, my PTO earns 25% or $2.50. We have over 400 students that are excited to sign up (site is available in November-December), which will earn us $1,000 right there. Plus, if each student tells just 2 friends or family members who sign up, we make another $2,000. This thing can go viral and make us a fortune! In the past, we have done jog-a-thons, auctions, bake sales, and even movie tickets only to make a thousand dollars. This is great and I recommend it to any group looking to raise money the easy way. Find out more by going to ispysanta .com/pta.I do not work for the company or even know them other than a casual encounter, but wanted to share a great fundraising idea.

We are a small K-12 christian school, about 200 students. It was really hard to get the Jr high and high schoolers to bring in BTs. So I had them fill out a survey to get ideas from THEM. One student came up with a great incentive. Pie a teacher. I talked it over with the principal and he thought it was great. Here's the contest......whoever brought in 50 BTs got to pie a teacher. It was ANY teacher or staff member they chose. We did this on the last day of school. We brought in 300 BTs. Of course my 5th grader chose the principal. He was a great sport about it though. Afterwords teachers, parents and students kept coming up to me and praising the idea. I told them it was a students idea not mine. It was a great way to end the school year.
P.S. We used shaving cream instead of real pie. It was cheaper.
We are looking at conducting an ecorondack chair sale - Amish crafted in Ohio, made from RECYCLED MILK JUGS - very cool & would show our kids a tangible item that is created from our recycling efforts. It would also be a great heirloom piece of furniture that will be around well after our kids are grown and gone.
A great way to support American manufacturing as well.
We will keep you posted.
Kajeet – the cell phone service for kids. Kajeet is offering a special fundraiser for non-profits who advertise a link on their website to a special Kajeet landing page. Every phone sold and activated through your link will earn your organization $50! We can even pay through Guidestar to simplify the process.
Kajeet runs on the Sprint PCS Network and has nationwide coverage. Our phones start at just $25 and monthly plans at $5. There are no contracts, no activation and no termination fees. What makes Kajeet unique are the free parental controls – Contact Manager, Time Manager and Wallet Manager – as well as the optional GPS locator service.
www.kajeet.com
is the main site. My landing page is www.kajeet.com/cford
and that would be more like the one we would set up for your organization. Through my landing page anyone is able to receive a 15% discount off all cell phones – and the same would be true for your landing page.
