Sally Foster Problems?

15 years 9 months ago #148156 by raptordad
Just tired of the whole Sally Foster thing. This is a prime example of one of those companies that take more than their fair share in profits. I love how the Entertainment Books post "Up to 50% Profit" when in fact it is more like 30% if you do another fund raiser, and if you are the first one in your region to send home the book... and that's not saying that they won't unfairly oversaturate the area with books at other schools. And after all that work....just barely at last year's level. But it must be our fault and not theirs..... glad to say that we are moving on.

Hi,
I am going to be the new President of our PTO next year and am checking into all the details. I have read this thread and called Sally Foster to find out what "Promotional Points" are. I was advised to have our chairperson contact our local rep who would be "able to divulge the information." Our chairperson was told, "we don't do promotional points." I don't know if she meant our school in particular or Sally Foster as a whole. I am just curious what they are and if we are currently eligable. Can anyone tell me what these things are and under what circumstances a PTO can get them.

Thank you.

Now I herd that your school has to make a certain amount to get a 50% back to the school? What if were a small school and don't make that amount (what is the amount anyway) how much do we get back? Maybe a sally foster person can help clairfy this. We are trying to figure out whcih companies to interview for fall and want some info up front. anybody have any info?

Are there other changes happening with Sally Foster? What does it mean to say a tailored incentive program? Thanks
