Our group had the frozen food rep set up at Open House in the fall and give out samples of some of the items that would be available. The Open House was just a few weeks before the sale started, so it really gave people a chance to see what they would be getting-luckily everything was quite tasty. He also spoke at our PTO meeting and had samples there. At middle school we do a big assembly for the kids where they learn about what prizes they can win.
At elementary you aim for the most part at the parents and at middle school you aim at the students.
We are going to do a catalog/frozen foods company this year and we are really excited. Just wanted to know if you guys had any ideas on how to get them pumped up/excited!!!!! I want to blow the roof off with our numbers.
We are also going to do a Jog-A-Thon in the Spring. I want to make enough money on the catalog sales that we don't have to do a bunch of fundraisers throughout. I want to make it fun for the kids.
Any suggestions or ideas??? This is my first year as fundraising coordinator. I have been volunteer coordinator and PTO President. Just trying them all out
