Our school collects BoxTops for Education. By simply sutting boxtops from every day food that everyone eats and submitting them at 10 cents each. Log on to Boxtopsforeducation.com for more info. We do a pizza night where a local pizza shop donates all the pizzas and we sell than at 3.00 for one slice and 4.00 for two slices. We purchase salad at a local BJ's and ask for donations from local grocery stores.Dunkin Donuts for soda, juice and cookies. We make approx 1500.00 each year. Scholastic Book Fairs are always a great way to go and there are no upfront costs. We recently did a Yankee Candle fundraiser that gets 40% profit on sales and no costs to the school. Another fun one is a Family Movie Night. We charge a small admission (1-2.00) and sell popcorn and pre-packaged candy. The kids have a blast.
Can anyone give me any help on where I can information on during a Silent Auction. Or has anyone done one that can help me. We are a small military school 160 kids and we would like to try this. We have used Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough sale. It was so successful last spring we did it again this past Christmas and are doing it again in the spring. It is a fairly easy fundraiser and we use a company called Kathryn Beich to run it through. It has been very successful with us. I would recommend it. The cookie dough comes in 3lb tubs, already pre-cut and can be frozen so you can take out one cookie or the whole tub to cook. and they are a great quality cookie.
sorry if this was all ready mentioned, but go to local grocery stores and see if parents can link their store rewards cards to the school. Every time they use their discount card, savings goes to the school
With Home Interiors fundraisers you make 50% of the candle sales. You can just do the small jar candles that are $7 and you make $3.50 per candle, or with the $12 you make $6 per candle. It is a great way to make money, and it is very easy. Everyone loves the candles and our school did very well. If you would like more info, I can email it to you.
