Ok. I have looked for tips, too, and I found out that if you open your shirt, and try to take up as much space as possible, you will get some. I am going to try it, but I am guessing I will only make 5 dollars. It is very hard.

LSYD1,

Never thought of doing it as part of the raffle. Hmm maybe we'll try that one next year.

We have figured it out for the most part. We are doing a mixture of $100 cash (1 will be a $20.00 bill) the rest 1's, then we have a bunch of free ice cream coupons, and the rest will be prize redemption coupons that look like dollar bills but with the ticket value on them. We will be charging 4 tickets to go into the money booth for 30 seconds. Basically $1.00 for 30 seconds.

I hope it goes over well, wish us luck!

Thank you everyone for your input!

We put $200 in singles in the machine... crumple them up. The most anyone has otten is $25. It is harder than it looks. Than we pay them out from a different stash of money so the next person has the same chance of winning.

Ours is part of our general raffle at the Fun Fair. We pull 4 names throughout the night. The kids love it and it is so fun to watch!

Our fundraising company also supplies us with a money machine to use for the students reward as part of selling xx amount of items at our fundraising reward party. They supply the money for the machine. The company comes in during the day for like 2 hours and the students who sold 12 items get to come down and play on the inflatables during school for a couple hours. The company supplies the money machine for those students who sold xx amount and they also provide cotton candy to all students attending the event. The company then stays over after school hours for our spring fling family event for 2 hours--last year we paid for them to stay over but this year we worked it into the contract that they take on this costs and we pay nothing for them to stay over for the family event and they agreed!!

Have you asked the fundraising company what they would recommend? They might have some info on using the booth in this manner.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

Diem,

I guess so. We've never used one before but we got it for free from our fundraising company. They are supplying our carnival this year as part of our new contract with them.
