The history is that the Winter Music concert had a song called "No School Tomorrow" that the 2nd half of the song (after it snows in the song), says they'll be "no school today because it snowed". A little selective trimming, and I had an audio clip I could use.

Since we are careful in our use of children's photos on the web site (and never identify them by name), and use them rarely due to clearances from parents, we'll take every opportunity to post some sound byte, clip or piece of info that can make it more fun!

As for the wishlist, and anything else, it only get's revised when people send the updates (and believe me, it's like pulling teeth!) A future version may be an automatic list backed by a database, but that's for later.

We've been talking about getting a wish list together again for this year and our PTO website would be a great place to put it. What a neat idea!!

By the way, we had a teacher who needed small white boards for her classroom and a parent went and purchased a sheet of the this coated paneling/wallboard at a local home improvement store and then just cut them into small boards for the classroom. It was really cheap- I want to say $17 for the whole sheet and it made enough boards so that every student in the class could have one.

Awesome website you have. I love that wish list. That would be a good thing to use during teacher apprec week and holidays. That way you know you would be getting the teacher something he/she needs.

Our webmaster had a very cute idea to announce that school was cancelled today due to snow. I thought I'd share it.

There is an audio clip (from our Winter concert last month) so be sure your volume is set to the right level.
