Wow! What a change since I took the summer off! In my opinion the white background is fine everywhere but the forums. Just a little too much bare space, makes it difficult to focus.

I'll second those who think the white (of the discussion forum) is stark - maybe it's these 40+ eyes, or the glare from my window, but it's hard for me to dwell on. I'll have to cut back on my forum time I like the rest of the changes, though. Looks fresh!
