I would love to see a direct link to the PTO resource site that I believe Ange??? started. If people have something to share, it would go straight there and then there could be a post here telling everyone it's available.

Yes, I find the "me too's" distracting, though I can certainly understand folks wanting to get good ideas from others. When I've had something to share, I do the cut & paste thing right into my post. Someone has set up a separate site for storing and sharing forms and such. Can PTOtoday itself do something like that?

I always feel bad when I get lots of requests for something and it takes me awhile to respond. It would be great if there were a section to put all the forms, letters, and poems that everyone could just access from the site.

Yes, I think it would be much easier if information was posted, copied and pasted, links, whatever it takes. There have been times that I've been interested in something but, I'm not comfortable making my e-mail address public and didn't request it. I like the forwarding idea.

Oh...I am so glad that you are addressing this issue. I think an instant messaging system (if not too expensive) would be a great way to go.

Another thought. I'm guessing that the reason that our emails don't show is for privacy. I have belonged to a few groups where we are given the option of having our email adddresses show or not. Do we have that capabilty? If we made the forums only available to registered users, then only our PTO Today "family" would have access to the emails, right? I, personally, wouldn't mind having other people be able to contact me without have to post "email me"'s. Of course, I cannot speak for everyone.

I was thinking somewhere in the lines of that last night. My thinking was since our emails are not made available in our profiles anymore perhaps you could have some kind of fowarding systems where we could contact each other through the site, that way emails and other personal info would not be given out.

Perhaps you could fix up a resource sharing link. When the "me toos" start coming up the document or info could be posted on that link where everyone can view.
