On the lighter side: How many times a day or week do you read this discussion forum?

My name's Tim Sullivan (Hi Tim!) and it's been 6 minutes since I last checked the forum.....

Seriously, you don't want to know how often I check. I'm actually working on checking it less, and if I succeed it will still be ridiculous.

(At least I -- occasionally -- get paid for it.)

With DSL and the discussion forum on my favorites list, it's easy to stop by, dare I say a couple of times a day. I am a HUGE fan of the forum - I've learned tons and hope I've been able to share some of my experience with others.

ok, ok, I admit it - I am logged onto my computer all day as well. I do a lot of work for my business as well as volunteer organizations too... you got me...... I check in "frequently" during the day just like you. I will go a step further to say sometimes I check for new posts up to 6 times a day if I have the time!!! Does that make me a PTO discussion forum addict? LOL!!!

JHB, thank you for not making me be the first to say I check several times a day. I am also logged in most of the day. Why not check to see if there's something interesting? The only time I don't do that since I found the site is when I'm on vacation or there's just so much going on that I can't get to my computer.

I have been curious about usage as well. I checked the archives before and noted that people taper off for the summer. Some threads have less than 10 posts over the summers. So I guess we do get a little break.

With my job (when I'm not in meetings), I'm logged on non-stop to the computer. At home, we use our computer for everything from homework to communications to tasks for the various orgs in which we volunteer work, so I'm probably in my home office (with the computer on) for 2+ hours per night sometime between 7pm and midnight.

Since I'm constantly online, I pop in and out of this website intermittently throughout the day and evening. It would be a rare day that I didn't at least check it.

I admitted it,I check the boards daily. I was one of the lurkers always checking but never posting. Then I started posting as an unregistered. Well, I finally got a backbone and registered!I have gotten a lot out of the boards in the past three years. There are a lot of good people with a wealth of information out there. I only hope that I can help someone like you all have helped me!
