Kiss-A-Pig nightmare

The teacher is leaving but one is moving back home (New England area) and the other wants to but signed a two year contract which will help her finish the schooling she needs for the position she really wants. So, it really didn't feel like a compliment. Many are leaving for managment reasons that I honestly feel are none of my business and really don't effect me.

It has just been a rough year and the new officers elected last night agreed we need a met and greet with the Principal and company. Something long overdue.

.....still wanting to reschedual the pig thing....

Who was leaving - the teachers? It sounds like they are leaving because of management. Is that so? If they wanted you to come with them, that's quite a compliment.

Graduation was Saturday and three teachers and myself were at a friend's home until midnight and BOY was I enlightened!

They loved the idea but were under the impression that it was on a volunteer basis, like the dunk tank was at the Fall Festive. Okay, no big deal, got a few more ideas then was told none of them were coming back this fall!!! Oh, one more, they begged me to leave the school to and go somewhere I will be more appreciated. Crips.
four more days of school.........

Yikes! We used to do a dunking booth at our school carnival. It was one of the most popular fundraisers, with both teachers & parents taking a turn in the hot seat, even our principal (you can imagine how many kids lined up for that one) but then we got a new principal who didn't want to participate and, I don't know, didn't want others too either, I guess. Same issues, I think. The kids might not respect them in the morning...
Oh well, wonder what would happen if I proposed "kiss a pig"?

I have to admit that I never brought up the "kiss a pig" idea to our school because I was afraid it might be misunderstood as some kind of insult. Although I love the idea, I can see that I wasn't just being paranoid.

Sorry to hear that it's working out badly.

No good deed goes unpunished. ;)

I really wish I could see the picture! It looks like a great motivator for the kids though. (volunteers too:) )
