That sounds like a great idea...any idea of what you might do this year?
I don't know if anyone from our PTO would have enough pics for us to do something like you did last year. I'd like to do something, but we don't have it budgeted, so would have to be whatever PTO members wanted to do on their own dime
Our principal definitely takes part in all of our staff appreciation activites... but we also made her a special gift last year. We took a large, poster-size frame and filled it with a collage of candid photos of our students and motivational quotes about education.... basically, a huge scrapbook page. We titled it "The Faces of Madison." She loved it.. brought tears to her eyes. She hung it in the front office for everyone to see... the kids love looking for themselves in it!
I don't know who made it up- probably the greeting card companies I have come across it a few times on the Internet and was just wondering if it is ever anything that schools ever do specifically for the principal.
I would think the principal would be included in the week of Staff Appreciation (seems like most schools have gone from Teacher Appreciation to Staff Appreciation week).
I was just trying to get some feedback to see if anyone's group does anything for a Principal Appreciation day.
There are so many great resources out there for teacher appreciation. Does anyone have some ideas for Principal's Day? I am looking for a cute poem, story, etc. Something fun to share at our board meeting and show the principal how much she is appreciated. Thank you.
