The first thing I'd like to suggest: Allow volunteer data to be imported from an Excel spreadsheet.
So far we've manually entered data for over 300 volunteers and I expect to add another 100 this week. We have 1200 students represented in our K-5 grades, so the number of volunteers added will only grow. I'd really like to have every student entered in the system with parent contact information so we could contact parents by grade or school when we need volunteers for a particular project or event. But entering that many manually is overwhelming!
We get the basic information about parents and their kids in spreadsheet format from our schools and we use that to create our student directory each year. If we could simply import that data into PTO Manager, we'd only have to edit the records to track volunteer interests and it would be a *huge* time saver.
