Hi Kelley, Since I couldn't get into every session, my friends and I split up for all the sessions, but got the handouts for each other. The one I got the most information out of was The Principal & Parent Group Relationship. I really wanted to go into Financial Essentials but no matter how big I am I'm just not big enough to be in two different rooms at the same time!
My friends really enjoyed Welcoming New Families. And then there's Craig, Mr. Newsletter Man! Saw his presentation last year in Philly and just loved it. That was my favorite "must see" session last year.
There were less vendors there this year, but the food was definitely better!
I was there and LOVED IT!!! The best part for me was everytime Tim opened his mouth and said "it's all about the fun things not the fundraising." There were people in the room that are from our schools and they REALLY needed to hear that. I laughed so hard I nearly wet myself! Let's hope they really listened and will do the right thing next year!
Me, too. The closest one to me is over 9 hours away!
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
