PLEASE keep Vegas in mind:) Lots of inexpensive hotel rooms and big convention space and lots of peoplke want to visit anyway....
It's probably the same situation as to when we plan our State PTA convention. Vegas is hard to find a host (and I would gather it would be the same for a PTO Conference) because we take up a lot of space for little money, we're not big gamblers, drinkers primarily and there are many other big ticket conventions vying for a place in Vegas. The rooms are also not that cheap during convention times... Those convention spaces are also not cheap.
