I thought it was the first week, then i went to the NEA site and found the to be the second week. We are going with the second week to give us more time. I never knew how much time it took to plan something like this!!! WOW!!!

I think you would be safe to use the second week of May. We are also using that week and have our Staff Appreciation Luncheon planned for Friday the 12th. Give yourself the extra time if you need it!

We thought it was the first week of May too, but then we found out that National Teacher's Day is May 9, so May 7-13 is actually Teacher Appreciation week. We're using that week so we have extra time to get our stuff together.

I have seen things saying it is the first week of may (1-5) and the first full week in May (7-13).

We are a bit behind in our planning..
