We give a $90 credit to each classroom and special teacher, and $75 to others like the social worker. Our teachers turn in receipts when they have accumulated enough and then we cut them a check.
We give each teacher, including the specialist like gym, art, etc. $100 to buy anything that will help in their classroom. We have had teachers purchase glue, markers, etc. We did have a teacher purchase a printer for his classroom. We also donate $100 per classroom for field trips. This is the one way that we can make certain that every student benefits from our organization; this and enrichment programs. When we have more money we donate more towards field trips.
We give nothing directly to teachers or the classrooms. We do help classes with class fund raisers, providing expertise, volunteers, even materials (which we take back the cost for). We provide support when the school does special activities that do not intail the collection of money such as the can food drive, the incentives were paid for by the PTO.
At the begining of each year we give each teacher $150 including the special teachers (art, gym). If they are part time we give them $75. Plus, at the end of the year we give $300 to each teacher that wants to take a field trip.
last year we gave 100.00 per teacher for field trip cost but it took alot of our budget so this year we are giving nothing.our pta gave 100.00 per room

We usually give $75.00 per classroom, but it all depends on how much we make on our fundraiser. This year we will not be giving out anything due to extremely bad fundraiser this fall.
