I'm with london713. If the VP asked for the transfer, will "forcing" them to stay through a writing campaign really be the best thing for your students? If however, the transfer isn't voluntary, then maybe your efforts could help. It would be interesting to find out the reasons behind the frequent turnover of administrators at your school. It sounds like that is the area on which the parents should focus their attention. Having constant changes in the administration has got to be frustrating for the teachers and school staff too.
If the vp wants to be transferred then I think there is little to be done about it now. Except maybe try to learn why there is a high turnover rate in the school and see if there is a way to make the school better.
Help! It was just announced that our principal is being transferred. We found out a month ago we were getting a new vice prinicpal also. We believe that this is detrimental to the students in our school to lose both administrators at the same time. My kids are starting 5th grade and this will be their 4th vice principal. Anyone start a writing campaign to object to the tranfer.
