First call the current treasurer and fill them in. Then the two of you should gather all the related paperwork and call the IRS. Is there a number and contact on the letter you received? It could be a simple filing error that could get corrected with a phone call and faxing your paperwork.
We're all so intimidated by the IRS, and I just heard last night on the national news that they give WRONG advice a third of the time!!! Maybe you're one of their "thirds"!!
Help!!! I just recieved a letter from the IRS stating we owe $3620!!! We recieved our exept notice, I thought that meant we did not have to pay taxess??? I filed, but am no longer the treasurer. Still the letter came to me. Help! What do I do? Has this ever happend to anyone else? :eek: :eek: :eek:
