I was just wondering if anyone on here operates their PTO with out the schools permission. Our Charter School Board just changed their policy manual in the past year and want us to close our bank account, give them the money and wait for them to approval all ideas and expenses and have them sign over checks if they approve. I know I ran accross it somewhere that some of you operate as "friends of XXX school" . Our school finally agreed that they can't TAKE our money but that they can say we can't use the property or "backpack express" and that we will NOT be recognized as "official representatives" of the school. Anyone set their group up to operate off school grounds? If so how?
