Question: Can a PTO petition the school or district to make changes?
There is not PTO nor PTA for your high school, only a group that meets with the principal 4x/yr. There is no contact info for them. There are some important issues that need to be addressed at the school: unsafe parent pickup/drop off/parking lot, nothing in place if there is every a shooting at the school, the list goes on. Can a PTO petition for changes? Or would PTA be best for that?
