Question: I am a member of a 501(c)(7) social club and wanting to know if the members of the club should have
We have full “Club members” that are supposed to be voting members but they can only vote for the members of the membership committee and 2 members of the board ….the board members are looking to do away with the club member vote for the board and have all 7 members of the board be elected by itself.

Take a look at your organizations bylaws to see if there's language on voting. If your group wants to make adjustments to how voting takes place, members can discuss, present changes, vote on those changes and then amend the bylaws to include the new procedures.
