Question: Keep PTO or become parent group
We incorporated last year. We are no longer members of PTO today and the current board thinks we can only be a PTO if we pay the dues. Is this right? Thank you!

Advice from PTO Today
Craig writes:Hi Lorin -- Not to worry. As a PTO, you are completely independent. PTO Today isn't a membership organization and there are no dues to pay. Almost all of our resources are free to all parent groups. We do have a service called PTO Today Plus that, among other things, gives you access to group insurance rates, but that has nothing to do with your status as an independent PTO.
