There are many different technology tools available now that PTOs and PTAs can use. Did you have specific apps that you were interested in -- mobile technology in particular? In general, there are various free tools for communications as well as management software to help parents run their groups. For instance, lots of groups now use Facebook and Twitter to communicate with their communities. Or, are you looking for an email program? We have a free tool called Parent Express Email, which groups use to create and send emails and maintain address lists. We also have PTO Manager software, which contains a volunteer manager application and finance manager component. So, lots of different types of technologies. Let us know if there are more specific apps you are interested in.

When will PTO Today go mobile? From what I hear, that is the NOW thing to do with one's website: use mobile or responsive design. There are only a handful of us left who aren't accessing this via mobile device or smart phone. Just today, a young marketing professional basically told me that desktop surfing will be a thing of the past by next year. Food for thought!

Hi westernmass -

RE: PTO Today and responsive. That's in the plans for very near future. You should see the homepage responsive in 2014. And the rest of the site responsive (one chunk at a time) in the months soon after.

Hi, My school and others in my area have been getting mobile apps made for their parent groups and have been very happy with them. Since you requested information about this specifically, I'd be happy to suggest some options. If you want to know more, send me a message... carin@schoolapptitude.com

Hi. Online ads, whether pop-ups or auto-play videos, often interfere with our browsing experience. By eliminating these distractions, Total Adblock allows us to focus on the content we are looking for without the constant interference of ads. You can subscribe to the application on the company's website, and if you need help setting it up, just contact the total adblock here https://total-adblock.pissedconsumer.com/review.html support and a company representative will be happy to provide excellent advice that will help you.

Hi! I started with native development on https://triare.net/service-web-development/ for iOS and Kotlin for Android. This approach gave me deep knowledge of each platform. I recommend native development to start with to better understand the basics, but cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native are also worth considering.
