Question: Where are the parents?

I am trying to understand how you have a PTO if no parents attend the meetings.At the decision meetings at our school,parents are not invited,in fact,the meetings are held during the school day and parents are not even aware of them.The only thing we hear are what decisions have been made and what we have to sell for our kids.So I ask this-how do you have a PTO without the P(arents)?

I have a question for you. If you know the officers' names of the PTO, why don't you invite them to a local diner for coffee and sweetrolls and ASK them? Sure, in my mind (and your's too) you cannot have a PTO w/out the parents. So when you get the answer from them, I'd like to hear it, too!
