We have found sign up parties to be extremely profitable. Also, in our live auction, the experience items and sports memorabilia seem to bring in the most money. For example, having a personal chef come to your home to cook dinner for 6 brought in nearly $500. Since I donated it, I offered a second party which did just as well. Another experience involved a wine tasting party for 20 at someone's home-$1200.
