Love jars
Nora Griffin of Just Make Stuff was brainstorming teacher appreciation ideas with other volunteers at Far Horizons Montessori School when Karla Roberts-Acosta, president of the Parents’ Association for Scholarship and Sensitivity, hit upon the idea of a love jar. Students wrote notes to their teachers telling them what they loved most about them. The notes were placed in mason jars.
