Parent groups working to fill budget gaps in education isn’t an unusual situation. It’s one we reported in both 2012 and most recently in March 2014, when the results in “Rising Expenses, Increasing Demands” revealed that after years of widespread school budget cuts, groups continued to feel pressure to provide greater financial and volunteer support for their schools.
