When I was looking for donations, The Adler Planetarium was one I looked into, but my charity group didn't qualify. I would give them a shot! When I first started my search for donations I first made a list of people I knew and where they worked to contact, then I made a list of popular things to do in the areas I was looking for, and started by researching contact info and websites for their donation guidelines. Hope this starts you off!
I am a primary grade level teacher and is researching ways to receive donations for my students. I realize your posts are a little bit ago, but I was wondering if you could email me any lists I can use to help my kiddos.

I got to thinking of something this morning. Chamber of Commerce monthly meetings. I hadn't thought of going to them. I don't think a lot of people do, either. However, it is a great opportunity to meet people in the hotel and other industries.
You can find out when meetings are in your local paper or on the local CofC website.
