I still haven't heard anything from American Girl. I first applied on July 21 and after a couple weeks passed and I hadn't heard anything I applied again. Still no response. If you're not approved, do they not respond? It makes me nervous when places don't respond. I'd rather get a no, than hear nothing at all just so I know my request was at least received.
Anyway, the fall festival is in 2 weeks. Do you think I should just write this one off for this year? I have tons of other great donations!
Also, If you have a Pump It Up in your area, check with them! But they prefer walk ins. I went today and they donated a birthday party valued at $160!
I would also like to "pay it forward". This was my first year. Thanks to all the great info from people. A note to those in Chicago - I had 3 gift certificates "lost" in the mail aka stolen from Chicago Postal Workers. Apparently this is not uncommon? American Girl would not resend, and I had to ask again for the others. The donating companies envelopes came in the mail, but they were opened and nothing inside. I reported it to the post office but they just write up a report and because nothing is insured - we did not get them. My mailman was not surprised. It for sure wasn't him - sad. Anyway, here is the list!

Just checking, are you referring to the list just posted by jee or the original list posted at the start of this thread? If it's the one at the start, there may be some outdated links. The list is meant to be a starter to help people get going on an auction project. I know you are short on time, but if you do just a quick scan of this thread, you will see other lists, like the one jee just posted, and you can pick and chose the vendors you want to reach.
