I don't with this software but you might want to check out Auctionpay. We used it at our school last spring and the software was great for planning all the event. Checkout was a hugh improvement from the previous year where we worked till 1:30 am to get our guests out - last year we were done at 9:30 -
Does anyone have experience with the Open Auction software? It's an open-source, auction management software built on Excel spreadsheets. The software allows you to enter guest info and numbers, donors, items, and auction bids, and then generate invoices at the end of the night. I know that many auction software packages can do this kind of thing, but this is the only one I've found that's open source.
Last year's manual invoicing was a bit of a nightmare at our event, so the ability to track into and generate invoices with a laptop at the event is very attractive to us.
