@omahamom I've heard the best subject line is the easiest: "Donation Request." That way, it can be forwarded to the correct department if need be and it clearly states your intention.

@anime036 If you go to the Redbox site and use their online chat feature, the agent will email you their donation request form, which is just a surveymonkey form.

PinkCalyx.com has moved its physical location, and now ONLY accepts donation requests via its website. The new procedure is outlined on their website:

pinkcalyx.com/charitygiftcertificates.aspx

Basically, they will donate a gift certificate to their online store in exchange for a "Like" on their Facebook page. Once they receive your request via their website, they email you a printable certificate.

Mail request are no longer honored.

Hi there!
This is an Amazing site! I only wish I would have found it earlier. I have so many questions, but the most pressing one right now is:
What is the best, most successful way to title the Subject Line in an outgoing donation request email???

Our event was this past Friday. We made $2100. To be our first time doing an auction, I think it was very successful. I want to give thanks to all those who contributed on this list. This list was very helpful to our event. I want to say that 95% of our donors came from this great list!
