I contacted several .. but only heard from Jan Brett, Eric Carle, and Ina Garten. Some I didn't get a response from include Paula Deen, Sandra Boynton, and Barbara Park.

Can you share which authors you have contacted who have donated?

We also received the Eric Carle poster. Lots of autographed posters and pictures from sports teams. We are trying to put a vacation package together. So far we haven't heard from any airlines. The authors we have contacted have been very generous.

We sent a letter to Kevin Henkes, but as of today .. haven't heard anything from him. We did get a signed poster from Eric Carle. Very cute!

Our auction is soon .. I should have an idea of how many letters I sent vs. replies next week.
