Set up - Take out six plates. Label the plates 1-6. On each plate put:

2. Port Clyde Sardines in Mustard Sauce (1 tin per plate)
3. Kippered Snacks (1 tin per plate)
4. Very large snails (10-12 snails per plate)
5. Geisha Whole Oysters (1/2 can per plate)

Once done weigh each plate, and write the weight on the plate.

4-5 Challenge - The Ultimate School Lunch

Welcome to Fear Factor Bingo.

Rules
When you came in you should have gotten a sheet with the rules for tonight. Let me quickly go over the ground rules. (Separate Sheet)

Fear Factor Challenges
We will break for the Fear Factor Challenges at 7:45. We will do all of them at one time, then end the night with more BINGO if there is time.

Fear Factor BINGO Rules

BINGO

r Have some fun, that is the main reason we are here.

r When BINGO is yelled out, do not clear your card until the winning BINGO has been confirmed. Once the winning BINGO has been confirmed then the caller will tell you to clear your cards.

r There will be no breaks while playing BINGO, so if you have to go to the bathroom or get some refreshments have your friend watch your cards while you go.

Fear Factor Challenges

r All of the challenges involve food bought from the local Cub Foods Grocery Store. There are no worms, snakes, spiders or any other live creatures involved in any of the challenges.

r There will be a challenge for the K-1 House, the 2-3 House, the 4-5 House, and one for 1 parent and 1 child together. If interested, you must fill out a ticket with your name and put it in the proper bucket.

r The Fear Factor Challenges will be described first, then we will draw the names of the contestants. If your name is drawn and you do not want to participate, you can decline. No one will be forced to participate in the Fear Factor Challenges. The Parent and Student Challenge will not be described first, because it is so easy that nobody would even think of declining.

r The winners of the K-1, 2-3, and 4-5 House Challenges will win Fear Factor T-shirts, a Dairy Queen Gift Certificate and a picture in the yearbook on the Fear Factor Bingo Page. The winners of the Parent and Student Challenge will win a Fear Factor Coffee Mug, and a Dairy Queen Gift Certificate.

Remember, next Thursday is Fear Factor Bingo. Next Tuesday begins Fear Factor Bingo Phobia Week. The phobia for Tuesday is Zoophobia- Fear of animals. So be sure to wear something with any animal on it. Also remember to get in your ticket order early for Fear Factor Bingo, tickets will be only $2.00 compared to $3.00 the night of Bingo.

One Fear Factor Stunt for sure that you won’t see on Thursday Night will be the Tarantula Torture Cell. Players had to stick their heads in a see-through box and sit patiently as 50 tarantulas are placed on their faces and heads. They wore safety goggles and nose plugs, but were instructed not to even speak. Then fifty big, hairy, fang-baring tarantulas crawled all over each player's head for three minutes.

Monday, Jan. 17 – No School (Martin Luther King Holiday

Morning Announcements Tuesday , Jan. 18
Remember, Thursday is Fear Factor Bingo. Tomorrow for Fear Factor Bingo Phobia Week the phobia is Triskaidekaphobia- Fear of the number 13. So be sure to wear a sports jersey or shirt, with or without a number on it.

One Fear Factor Stunt for sure that you won’t see on Thursday Night will be the Fear Factor Billiards. Standing in front a pool table, four pool balls rested on the table, each with a different symbol: an egg, an ant, a squid and a chili pepper. Each symbol represented an item players would have to eat. Players would get five shots to sink the four balls. Whichever balls remained would determine what the players ate. The egg was a hundred year old egg, the ant was to eat a tube of live ants, the squid was to eat raw squid guts, and the chili pepper represented the hottest chili pepper on the earth. One player was such a bad pool player that she had to eat the ants, the squid guts and the chili pepper.

Remember, tomorrow night from 6:30 – 8:30 is Fear Factor Bingo. Tomorrow for Fear Factor Bingo Phobia Week the phobia is Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia – Fear of long words. Be sure to wear anything with words on it, the longer word the better.

One Fear Factor Stunt for sure that you won’t see tomorrow night will be the Rat Transfer. Players arrived in what looked like an abandoned warehouse. Just the type of place you'd expect to find rats. Sure enough, there was a table spilling over with big, dead, frozen rats: Their little pink paws frozen into a permanent upright position. They had to transfer as many rats from the table to a nearby container using only their mouths! Plus, the containers were behind a little barricade, requiring each player to stop a few feet away from it and "toss" the rats in.

Morning Announcements Thursday Jan. 20 –
Remember, tonight from 6:30 – 8:30 in the cafeteria is Fear Factor Bingo. If you paid ahead of time, make sure you wear your wristband tonight. Otherwise you can get a wristband tonight for only $3.00 a person. Tomorrow for Fear Factor Bingo Phobia Week the phobia is Melanophobia- Fear of the color black and Leukophobia- Fear of the color white. Be sure to wear anything that is the color black or white or both. Also tomorrow you can bring in a $1.00 contribution to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and you can wear a hat at school.

One Fear Factor Stunt for sure that you won’t see tonight will be Fear Factor Basketball. Players wandered through some damp, dark warehouse-type space until they spotted a small basketball court. The Fear Factor version of "Horse." is each player would take four shots at the basket, from four different locations on the "court." Each time they missed a basket, the players had to drink a full glass of blended nightcrawlers, superworms, red worms and Madagascar hissing cockroaches.
