Everyone Must be Shopping

18 years 11 months ago #125878 by ademom74
Black friday, out at 5:30 am, hit toys r us, circuit city, target, borders and kohls. Home by 9am. Spent next four hours making 27 dozen pierogis with my husbands family.
Then went home and crashed.

I only went shopping for 3 hours this morning. Made popcorn balls, took the kids out to lunch (at a breakfast place) and took a nap with them to make up for getting up at 3am. Now we are playing monopoly!

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

neither...I had to work today, I did notice on the way home that the roads were pretty dead. Must be at the mall! I stay right away from that, too much stress for me (and I run a pto group...ha ha ha).

...or suffering the after-effects of too much turkey, perhaps. Boards haven't been this quiet since last year's holidays.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.
