They're not out, yet. France'll find a way to get them in plus NASCAR needs the "conspiracy theory". Works for the NBA "Lakers" and MLB "competitive even without a payroll.

Go Stewart "Brickyard Win at our hometown- so cool" and Martin

Jeff and Jimmie all the way! :D I'll like Tony Stewart more when he proves himself as "reformed" from his dirty driving/bad temper days. The climb the fence thing is a cool gimmick. NASCAR needs the publicity with some of its most popular drivers out of "The Race to the Chase" this year.

I don't really like racing, which makes me a bit of an oddball around here.

Funny story. One time during fall break my oldest had to make a pit stop while we were at the local library. While waiting I noticed a cell phone lying on the floor. I noticed some out-of-towners doing some research and asked if it was theirs. It was, the guy had lost several in the last few months. Come to find out the guy was doing research on Gillie Hyde, which I though was a car dealer but apparently he was an awesome race car mechanic. This guy was a former Rainbow Warrior and works for Hendricks. I had no clue what he was talking about but my boys did. They were beside themselves. We got an autograph pic of Jeff Gordon out of our good deed. Come to find out this guy went to school with my mother-in-law and they started emailing each other. She got tickets to Bristol and was it the Brickyard? Sigh. At least Gordon was looked dang good in that pic.

My oldest is Gordon all the way, my youngest is wishy washy. He went through a Stewart phase, now he is in Jr. phase. Whoever is on top. I think I'd rather have Tony Stewart as his role model. I myself liked the Gordon vs. Gordon saga a couple of years ago. If I happen to watch I pull for the Chevy guys.

I go for an older driver....Dale Jarrett. I have been his fan for many years. Always think of him when I see an UPS truck.

My Family tries to watch every race. We enjoy the time together.

In the Busch series it has to be Martin Truex Jr. He's extremely likeable and a good driver. Of course I'm a Dale Jr fan too. Though I've met a few drivers and my favorite to talk to is Jimmie Johnson. He never forgets that he has to respect the fans and he always signs every autograph he can. I was bored today too. It's raining and I've got the kids ready for school next week so I took a nap during the rain delay.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
