Hi NoahJakesMom!
One thought is to follow Scholastic on Facebook to keep track of what's going on with the company. Here's the link: www.facebook.com/ScholasticBookFairs.

Are you looking for other ways to fundraise for your group as well? We have a whole section on the site devoted to fundraising ideas: www.ptotoday.com/fundraising

Hope that helps and please stay in touch!

Our school is Title 1 so the teachers have always handled the Book Bingo.
The principal did say at a meeting that Scholastic usually has the good stock up deal in the fall. Our state was in a budget impasse at that time so we didn't have funding to buy all the books.
If scholastic does do a good sale I'd like to know so we could try to save this year's book bingo.

Can you give us feedback on what you do for this event?

We are having our 2nd Annual Bingo for Books in March. However, last year you were able to order all the books from Scholastic for a $1 each through the teacher store. I haven't seen that sale yet this year and I'm getting worried that it won't happen in time. Any advice on where to get books really cheap?? We need at least 200.
