We used a crock pot for our event and added hot water and cocoa mix as needed.

Our group did the same thing and made it in a large 5-gallon drink cooler. Just make sure that you don't pour hot water directly into the cooler...start with some warm water and add your hot boiling water/cocoa mix to it. The hot boiling water, if poured directly into the cooler, could melt the seal around the spigot. Good luck and have fun!

Our group made it in a big drink cooler. It kept the hot chocolate hot.

Next week we are having a week long book fair. For an evening event we will
have a pajama story time night where kids and parents can come in their pajamas and teachers, principal and the town childrens librarian will read stories throughout the evening.

We will be serving cookies and hot cocoa. My question is has anyone made hot cocoa in a coffee urn?? Any suggestions on how to make the hot cocoa for this event.
Thanks
Natalina
