Yeah inflatables are so expensive to rent. There is almost always someone in your local area that would be willing to let you use them. Because of that little girl getting hurt at Kentucky Kingdom, Kentucky now considers even the inflatables a "ride", so the insurance is out of the roof for them, so now a firefighter has to be the one manning the inflatables here in Kentucky now, but we just got some of the dad's in our school that were volunteer firefighters.
"Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."
In our area the local National Guard unit also has inflatables that they will run for school, church and charity events for free. We will definately be calling them for our school carnival!
Quick note: Fun Services organizations are typically franchised, so (except for the name), the franchisee in Tuscaloosa isn't the same company/owner/policies/practices as the franchisee in Tallahasee. So worth checking references on your particular franchisee, as opposed to the FS name in gerneral.
I would like to share that I would NEVER recommend renting equipment from Fun Services. Their equipment was dirty and broken. One item, the striker, fell apart completly. Thank goodness there was not a kid standing behind it. We expressed to the company before we rented that we expected clean equipment and for it to be delivered on time or we would not use them again. Well the only thing they did right was to show up on time. We gave them the opportunity to remedy the situation and their offer was a $28.00 refund on a $675.00 rental.....are you kidding me?
