In the yellow pages under walk-a-thons is the company you are thinking about-- they take care of everything, fliers, pledge packets and everything-- but they do take a percentage. If you don't really have any help, it would be worth it to use them... if you are doing the work yourself, you could check out their site and see what they use and make some of the fliers up yourself.
We are working on our fliers right now for next fall.
Good luck!
I don't remember that issue, but am also interested. Our little school is in the process of doing a fun run/walk in May. We would love to get as many ideas as possible. Those of you with great ideas can email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Thank you in advance.
Does anyone remember a from the PTO Today magazine back towards the beginning of the school year. (It may have even been last spring).
It was about a walk-a-thon a school had great success with. I think there was something about a tiger in the name of the event. As kids reached certain increments of fundraising they were entered into a drawing for a Wii.
Can you help me locate this? I've searched all over the site and can't find anything about it.
