Go to the local store and talk to the Store Manager. They have the ability to donate to their community on the spot. Atlanta most likely will tell you to contact the Store Manager for your local store as well.
Hope this helps.
Check with Lowe's if you have one in your area, also Target and Kohl's are good resources if you have them. We have both a new Target and Kohl's that are kind of competing with each other right now for donations for our upcoming Winter Workshop. Check other sources as well-like maybe OSH if you have one in your area. As I learned recently at a parent involvement seminar, "If you don't a-s-k, you won't g-e-t". And, as my mom is fond of saying, it doesn't hurt to ask.
Good luck!
Our garden club coordinator got tons of bird house kits from our local Home Depot just this summer. This is usually something that each individual store manager takes care of. Maybe there is another store near you where you could try again.
Does anyone know if Home Depot will still provide the kids wood building kits to the schools for a Mother/Son Father/daughter activity? I went to our local Home Depot and got a name and address for somone in Atlanta-it came back 'Return to Sender'
Wht other companies might do something similiar?
