Hi,
In our area, high schools typically have a "Senior Night" honoring the senior players of a sports team. It is held at the last home game for that particular sport. The parents and the student are called out on to the court/field/etc at either half time or the end of the game (depending on the sport or the coach). A corsage or some sort of flowers are presented to the moms. Typically a brief "bio", written by the athlete is read for each student. Gifts are usually given to the coach, the team manager, whichever students kept the books for the team, and the seniors. This is usually paid for by a fundraiser that the team's booster club ran.
Does anyone have any ideas or traditions or suggestions on things that we can do for Senior Night? We are trying to think of some new things. In the past, there have been team photos, action shots of the boys, autographed soccer balls, duffle bags, team jackets, etc.
