Here's another good one. Talk with your Principal and see if he would be willing to have breakfast or dinner with a family. Or maybe let a child be "Principal for the day". Either way these can be auctioned off and would be fun.

Hi, In The past two years we have had raffles at our school. Each grade level
had a different theme. One basket was filled with books (Literacy basket)
KG Basket was filled with arts and crafts. 2nd grades basket was huge. They
contacted padock pools about the raffle and they donated a huge amount of pool supplies rafts/toys. 5th grade did entertainment basket: IPOD Nano, DVD's ,CD's,Games. 6th grade did sports:Tickets to Baseball / hockey games / Roller skating. We got hats and shirts donated from our Diamondbacks. Skatboards ect. 3rd grade did movie nights: Tons on DVD's were donated,
4 or 5 sets of movie tickets from harkins. Lots of candy and popcorn.
One year we had a big bag from Trader Joes filled with all kinds of specialty items. Another basket was filled with items for scrap book making..Each grade level is responsible for there baskets. The kids love it. Some teachers work with the kids on writing letters to different stores/organ. and some of the items parents donate. About 1 week before the raffle we set all the baskets out on tables usually during our book fair. Everbody can't wait for the
day of the raffle. Good Luck.
That's all I can think of with less than 1 cup of coffee in me-wait, that's another one, Coffee Lovers-but I'm playing with basket ideas for our silent auction as well so I may think of more. Good Luck!
